1. Who We Are & Scope

The data controller for your personal data is PT Langit Cerah Teknologi, located at Infiniti Office, Arcade Business Center 6th Floor Unit 6-03, Jl. Pantai Indah Utara 2 Kav. C1, PIK., Kelurahan Kapuk Muara, Kecamatan Penjaringan, DKI Jakarta 14460, Indonesia.

This Policy applies to the Build QR website, dashboard, and mobile app. It does not apply to third-party services we link to but do not operate.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

(a) Account information — your email address used to sign in, and any optional display name or profile details you choose to share.

(b) QR codes and content you create — the QR codes you generate, their destinations or payloads, folders, schedules, and any per-QR branding you configure.

(c) Uploaded image assets — logos or images you upload for use with your QR codes.

(d) Subscription and purchase information — records of the plans you purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

(e) Usage and device information — product usage analytics events, app version, device and platform type, and a session identifier.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data to: provide, operate, and sync the Service across your devices; resolve dynamic QR code redirects; generate scan analytics for QR codes you own; manage your subscription and plan entitlements; understand and improve how the Service is used; secure the Service and prevent abuse; and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not build advertising profiles from your use of the Service, and we do not sell your personal data.

4. Data From QR Code Scans

When anyone scans a dynamic QR code you created, we record scan analytics to power the analytics shown in your dashboard — the scan timestamp, an approximate location derived from the scanning device's IP address, and device or browser type. This data may concern people who scan your codes and who are not Build QR account holders; as the creator of the QR code, you are responsible for any notice or consent your own use of scan analytics requires under applicable law.

We do not store the raw IP address of a scan. It is used briefly, in memory, to look up an approximate location (resolved locally against our own geolocation database, not sent to a third party) and to compute a one-way, non-reversible hash used to count unique scans; only that hash is retained, never the IP address itself.

Scans you perform using the Build QR mobile app's built-in scanner are decoded and stored locally on your own device as your personal scan history. They are not transmitted to us.

5. Third Parties & International Transfer

To operate the Service, we share limited personal data with trusted service providers that help us provide account sign-in, subscription and payment processing, and storage and delivery of images and assets you upload. Card details are handled by our payment processors, not by us.

The Service runs on cloud infrastructure, including infrastructure in Singapore. Some providers may process data in other countries, so your information may be transferred and processed across borders; where required, such transfers use appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@build-qr.com and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service.

When you delete your account, it is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days, except for a limited set of records we are legally required to keep (for example, purchase and transaction records), which we retain only for the period the law requires.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You can access and update your basic account information in the dashboard, and you can delete your account and its associated data at any time — in the Build QR app (Account → Delete account), or by emailing support@build-qr.com or using our Account & Data Deletion page.

Under applicable law, including Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and object to or restrict certain processing. You can also opt out of analytics.

If you are located outside Indonesia (for example, in the European Union or the United States), you may have additional rights under local law, which you can exercise by contacting us at support@build-qr.com.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

In the event of a data breach, we will handle it in accordance with applicable law, including notifying affected users and authorities where required.

10. Website Cookies & Analytics

This section applies only to our website at build-qr.com, not to the mobile app. On the website, we use generic analytics and cookies to understand how visitors use our pages.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not function as intended if you do.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

12. Governing Law & Contact

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including the Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022).
