Terms of Service

1. Definitions & Acceptance

In these Terms, "Service" means the Build QR website, dashboard, and mobile app; "you" or "User" means any individual or organization accessing or using the Service; and "Content" means the QR codes and other materials you create using the Service.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for a general audience. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service.

3. Accounts & Registration

To use certain features, you will need to create an account by signing in with your email. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. We are not responsible for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure.

4. Subscriptions & Payment

The Service offers optional paid plans (Free / Starter / Pro) that unlock higher limits and additional features. Pricing and billing period are shown to you at the time of purchase, and billing is handled on the web dashboard.

Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on a prorated basis; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your subscription automatically renews each billing period until cancelled; you can manage or cancel it at any time in the dashboard. Refunds, where available, are handled in accordance with our applicable refund policy.

The mobile app does not sell subscriptions — it only reflects your current plan and its limits.

5. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal (or, where you act on behalf of an organization, business), limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own purposes. The QR codes you generate are yours to use; you may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service itself without our permission.

6. User Content & Conduct

You retain the rights to the QR codes and destinations you create using the Service, and you are solely responsible for the content those QR codes point to.

You may not use dynamic QR codes to redirect to unlawful, deceptive, or malicious content, including phishing, malware, or spam. We may pause or suspend QR codes or accounts that we determine, in our reasonable judgment, are being used abusively.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, website, dashboard, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for your Content, you may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will operate uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. We are not responsible for user-created QR code destinations or for third-party sites reached by scanning a code.

9. Termination & Account Deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account — in the Build QR app (Account → Delete account), by emailing us, or via our Account & Data Deletion page. When you delete your account, it is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or applicable law, including through abusive redirects.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and by continuing to use the Service you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Indonesia.
